Father Rob Longbottom

Rector (Lead Pastor)

Fr. Rob Longbottom has been the Rector (Lead Pastor) at St. Paul's since March of 2020. He first served St. Paul’s as the Curate from 2001-2005 before he left to serve churches in upstate New York and Central Florida. Fr. Rob and his family returned to Visalia in March of 2020. Fr. Rob has been married to Amee for 17 years and have three children: Rose, Penny, and Ziggy. Fr. Rob’s passion in ministry is pastoral care, missional leadership, and empowering the people of God to discipleship, mission and worship. Fr. Rob loves to play the guitar, read Tolkien novels over and over again, outdoor activities, camping, sports, and most importantly caring for and spending time with his family.

John Iseman

Family Pastor

John has been the Family Pastor at St. Paul's since October of 2021. He has been serving in ministry since 2013. He served as the Youth Ministry Director for the Episcopal Diocese of Albany from 2014-2017 and then as a Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church from 2017-2021. John combines his ministry experience as a youth and lead pastor to minister to the families at St. Paul's in a wholistic way - caring for both children and parents. He is currently working on his Master of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary and is in the process of discerning a call to the Priesthood in the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin.

In conjunction to his role at St. Paul's, John is also the Youth Ministry Director for the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin. In this role John works alongside leaders and volunteers throughout the Diocese to provide resources, retreats, and summer camp experiences for the youth of the Diocese.

John and his wife Jackie married in 2014 and have two young children. In his free time John likes to exercise, play just about every sport, and spend quality time with his family.  

Ellen Daniels

Music Director

Ellen Daniels has been the music director of St. Paul’s Anglican Church since 2016. Her background and music education is in piano performance and music history, but she’s been assisting in liturgical church worship since her high school years. She’s married to her high school sweetheart, David, and has two girls, June and Winnie, with girl number three on the way in May 2023!

Father Richard James

Retired Rector

Fr. Richard James was ordained a deacon in 1978 in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona, and a priest in Paradise Valley, Arizona, in 1979. In 1982, he married his wife, Pam, and in 1985, the two of them and their 6-month old son, Daniel, moved to Oklahoma City, where Fr. James was the Rector at the Church of the Resurrection. Their second son, Alex, was born in Oklahoma City in 1986, and in 1990 the family moved to Visalia after Fr. James was called to serve as Rector at St. Paul's. After retiring from full-time ministry in 2020, Fr. James has continued to be active at St. Paul's and in the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin.
